Spirographic was started in June of 2017 as a way for me to explore motion graphics and visual art making on a daily basis. The representation of shapes has shifted over time to what has interested me.

This video is an example of spirographs I have made being composited together in the program Touch Designer. Notice in the left hand corner a slider can be adjusted to manipulate the speed that one of the spirographs plays at. With more progress I will have variables for both spirographs to be adjustable including speed, color, and shape.  The intention of this work is to eventually turn it into an interactive projection installation.

As I have explored creating these geometric forms, I have shifted into a 3D space in order to create looping tunnels.
