As I go into my second semester in thesis production, I have a few new challenges to tackle. I have completed most of my backgrounds, which means I will now will be working on character animation - the child, the dog, and the bird. Here is a small example of some rough line work of the child. I will be polishing it up and coloring him soon.
Form/Digital Heart was completed for my Post Production class during my Fall 2016 semester. This project was my first use of 3D animation in a more extensive manner with each shot requiring some sort of 3D modeling and lighting. Additionally, I had to create 2D animated textures to apply to the 3D objects, for example, the figures on the cubes as well as the text message conversation on the phone. Compositing techniques were required to layer many of the 3D and 2D objects.

Jellyzilla! is my first assignment for Practicum Fall 2015 at Pratt Institute. We had to create a short 15 second TV bumper referencing pop culture and teenage nostalgia. I chose to work in a illustrative digital medium as it is a new style for me and I wish to expand my skill set. I started the project by making story boards where I decided upon the features of the candy bar, dinosaur, cat, and troll doll. It was a large amount of content for 15 seconds. A portion of the storyboard is below.
