Adult Swim (2017)
While at Adult Swim I worked in the live web streaming department creating motion graphics and videos for various shows. My time here was filled with some of the most bizarre and creative productions I could imagine, from cutting a fish themed musical album, to acting out a live action fantasy roll playing game with an inflatable dragon. Below are a few of the shows and projects I worked on regularly.
Fishcenter Live is a talk show centered around a tank full of exotic fish. Viewers call in and play games with the hosts in order to win points for the fish of their choice. This was the primary show I worked on while at Adult Swim, creating motion graphics that would be incorporated within the show. The aesthetic for the show is influenced by internet and pop culture.
For this project I worked with copywriter/musician Chris Arrison to create a compilation of past hot fishcenter tunes. I created the 3D logo and the title animations, as well as composed the edit. I used Cinema 4D and Premeire.
Every night on Bloodfeast we solved the New York Times crossword puzzle while the hosts Dave Bonowits and Max Simonet discuss current events, art, and sub cultures. I primarily worked as a camera operator on this show filming bands that would perform.
The Big Cringe
Airing late night on Bloodfeast, The Big Cringe is an animated series set in a post apocalyptic future where the sun has been replaced by a blacklight. I created the backgrounds for episode 2.
The Cry of Mann
The Cry of Mann: A Trool Day Holiday Spectacular was a live broadcast serial drama with audience interaction produced by Wham City Comedy and Adult Swim. Viewers could call in and speak on the phone with actors to help solve the mystery of Trool Day. On this show I worked as a production assistant and grip.
